Homework Policy

Daily assignments are due at the beginning of the next class session.

Daily assignments are worth 2 points.

Late assignments are accepted for 25% of the earned grade one class session after the original due date and 50% of the earned grade two class sessions after the original due date

After two class sessions, students will earn zero points.

Long-term assignments are due at the beginning of class on the assigned date.

Late long-term assignments are accepted up to five class sessions after the original due date.

If 1 day late 20% will be deducted, and for the next 4 days an additional 5% will be deducted.

After the fifth class session a zero will be entered as the grade.

Academic Lunch Program:

Three late daily assignments within a quarter will result in an ALP referral until the assignment is completed.

One late long-term assignment will result in an ALP referral until the project is complete following the above criteria for long-term assignments.
